Earlier this year, our school community was deeply saddened by the passing of Dawn Pateman, whose dedication to Huncote Primary School spanned 16 years as a governor, including 10 years as Chair of the Governing Body.
Dawn's unwavering commitment, wisdom and support helped shape our school and touched the lives of countless children, staff and families. Her legacy continues to inspire us every day.
Thanks to the generosity of Dawn's family and friends, donations made in her memory have been used to create a beautiful memorial garden within the school grounds.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who contributed to making this possible and to Dawn for the profound impact she had on our school community. Forever in our thoughts, and forever part of Huncote 💚 ...

Watching you all grow has been one of our greatest privileges. From those very first nervous steps through our doors to the confident, kind and curious children you’ve become, it has been an absolute joy to be part of your journey.
